SEN Schools football tournament

On Thursday 12th October ALP Nuneaton joined with a group of learners from ALP Leicester joined together to represent ALP in the Warwickshire hub against three other schools across the day. This was the first ever football match we had played together and the learners acquitted themselves excellently across the day showing great sportsmanship to one another and to the other schools that were taking part in the tournament.

A total of six matches were played by our learners over the day and although we were unable to win any of our matches our learners showed a great attitude towards the games scoring goals, and were able to showcase their skills and passion for football.

The main focus of the day was for the learners to have fun and play with a smile on their face, which was achieved and the learners cannot wait for the next one.
