Learners from the Rainforest and Lower Safari pathways at ALP Nuneaton enjoyed an exciting educational visit to Twycross Zoo, where they spent the day exploring the animal attractions and developing important life skills outside the classroom.
The trip gave pupils the opportunity to see a wide range of animals from around the world while learning more about their natural habitats and behaviours. Throughout the day, learners demonstrated curiosity and enthusiasm as they discovered new species and engaged with the zoo environment.
From observing endangered animals to sharing experiences with their peers, the day was filled with memorable moments and opportunities for personal development. Staff were particularly proud of how they represented the school, demonstrating positive behaviour and a willingness to embrace new experiences throughout the visit.
The trip was made possible thanks to the generous support of the Arbury Rotary Club, which fully funded the visit.
Bradley Rowley, head teacher at ALP Nuneaton said: “The visit to Twycross Zoo was a fantastic experience for our learners and provided opportunities for both learning and personal growth.

“We are incredibly proud of how they conducted themselves throughout the day and would like to extend our sincere thanks to Arbury Rotary Club for their generosity and continued support. Their contribution helped create lasting memories and valuable experiences for our young people.”
