On Thursday 10th February, Bradley, our Head Teacher, brought his own dog into school to meet our learners.
Chikoo is a Cavapoo which, thankfully, is a non-moulting small breed dog. He spent time in school for the day interacting with our learners.
As you may be aware, dogs can have an excellent impact on well-being and they are a great way of providing social and emotional support for learners!
In other ALP schools, friendly dogs are a part of the team. Lessons in grooming, caring for and walking dogs are enjoyed and we hope this will become a regular feature of ALP Nuneaton in the near future.
